Iran War Day 62: Trump Vows Extended Blockade; Israeli Strikes Kill 17 in Lebanon Despite Ceasefire
President Trump told national security officials to prepare for an extended naval blockade of Iran’s ports, as Brent crude briefly touched $126 a barrel and U.S. gasoline prices hit a four-year high. Israeli strikes killed 17 in southern Lebanon despite an April 16 ceasefire, as President Aoun condemned “continuing violations.” Mizoram became insurgency-free as its last armed group surrendered, and GTA pump prices jumped eight cents to $1.89 per litre overnight.
