Carney Tables Spring Fiscal Update; UAE Quits OPEC; King Charles Addresses U.S. Congress
Finance Minister Champagne tabled the spring fiscal update Tuesday, revealing a deficit $11.4 billion lower than forecast and a $5.9-billion skilled trades investment. The UAE announced it is leaving OPEC effective May 1 in a blow to the oil cartel. King Charles addressed a joint session of the U.S. Congress on NATO solidarity and Ukraine support during a state visit to Washington.
